From engineering skateboards to building his first electric guitar in junior high, Perry Schroeder’s upbringing in Pacific Palisades fell nothing short of intellectually stimulating. Still driven by a fascination for how and why things work, Perry acknowledges that his younger self’s ability to seize a vision and acquire the knowledge to expertly execute it set the tone for his entrepreneurial spirit and life-long career in real estate, an industry that he has proudly devoted twenty-five years of practice.
In addition to Perry’s collegiate studies at USC, wherein he earned an accounting degree and completed the university’s prestigious Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program, Perry was employed for over a decade as a real estate project manager negotiating hundreds of construction contracts and the sale of over 500 transactions. He went on to pursue a general contractor’s license as well as a LEED-Accredited Professional, the strongest sustainable credential one can acquire. As a licensed contractor, Perry offers vetted experience when it comes to navigating through the different stages of buying and selling real estate, giving his clients expert insight and counsel while at the same time granting them peace of mind.
“Integrity, honesty, persistence, and professionalism are not words to be taken lightly—they are the guiding principles I apply to my real estate business. A mentor frequently reminds me, ‘there is always room at the top’, and I strive to be at the top everyday—not just for personal satisfaction, but on behalf of my clients.”
Perry’s multi-faceted portfolio, together with relevant academic study and abundant professional credentials, contributes to the insightfulness and value that he brings to his position as Associate for Pacific Union International in Los Angeles.
Following successful careers in commercial real estate and real estate development, Perry transitioned to residential real estate in 2009, yet can still be found dabbling in the former due to his understanding of the business from a financial and analytical perspective. After the dust from the recession settled, Perry adopted the motto “live, work, and play close to home”, solidifying Santa Monica as his home base where within walking distance lie favorites R&D Kitchen, Peet’s Coffee, the Aero Theatre, and the reputable burger from Father’s Office. Due to his intimate knowledge of the urban beach town, including neighboring Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, and Venice, Perry is a natural fit to specialize in these submarkets and continues to fuse the beach-meets-mountain lifestyle into his everyday routine. read less «
