Recently at a seminar a speaker said, “Good service is so rare nowadays, you’re shocked when you get it.” If you work with Georgia Seid for your real estate needs, be prepared to be shocked. When preparing to list our home we interviewed three realtors. We selected Georgia for several reasons. First, she was always on time for each appointment. She demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of the present market status. The portfolio of marketing material she displayed impressed us. Probably the most important thing, she listened to our specific needs. In short, she projected professionalism. You will be satisfied with Georgia Seid’s services. She made the potentially stressful process of home selling as easy as it can be done.

It was by far one of my luckiest days when I came across Georgia’s sign on a home where I used to live. It was obvious from the first call Georgia was VERY professional and willing to listen to what we wanted and not telling us what she thought we should want. At the time we didn’t know if we wanted to stay in the area or move out of the area. We had a list of several areas we were possibly wanted to move. Georgia listened to and took it upon herself to obtain information about each area we had mentioned and provide us all of the information needed to assist us in making our final decision. Not to say she was knowledgeable about the areas we were looking but got additional statistics on our area of concerns as it related to crime, schools and the educational background of owners in each area. She even sent us a site we could go online and view the statics even further. I think some of the reasons people primarily need an agent is for the legal aspect as well as the accessibility to homes that are listed without having to contact every agent individually to see it. At the same time Georgia makes you feel like you are in charge. The questions she asks to determine what listings were worth the time to see or not exceed any other agent’s question I’ve worked with in the past and these questions saved us a lot of time. Even though she did a wonderful job of planning a list of houses, she was very open to adding other homes to the list and getting us into seeing them. Georgia will forever be our listing as well as our purchasing agent on any real estate transaction we ever do. Thank you Georgia, you are truly the BEST!

I am writing to you to express my appreciation for the personal attention you provided for the sale of our home. I can remember when we first met you; it was almost twenty months later that we made the decision to put our home on the market. I must confess, I never expected that a listing agent would so patiently work to provide market insight and information over such an extended period of time, waiting for us to choose just the right moment to put our home on the market. As a matter of thoroughness, we interviewed five other agents before choosing to market our home with you. I’m certain that we made the right choice. Not one of the other agents we interviewed brought forward the realistic optimism combined with professional confidence we experienced working with you. Your performance at the moment we finally decided to put our home on the market was, well, really impressive. It all started when we met with you at our home’s kitchen table to evaluate pricing scenarios. You listened carefully as we described the features of our home and how quickly we wanted to sell. You provided the market facts, the sales data of comparable homes, and the market direction and feel. And then we worked as a team to set the price. I must confess, up to that point, I had only dreamed of selling a home for over a million dollars. You helped us make that dream come true. I knew that the marketing plan was going to work when you described the experience of the initial “open house.” I just couldn’t believe it when you explained that people were lined up outside on the sidewalk waiting to get their turn to tour our home. From helping us set the price on our home, to agreeing on a marketing plan, to the plan’s execution, to working through the negotiations with the eventual buyer, you provided service that made a difference. There are so many other things that you did to make the sale of our home successful; too many to mention in this short letter. I want to sincerely thank you for making the sale of our home a successful experience. I hope that as we purchase and sell homes in the future, we are able to work with realtors that can meet the “Georgia Seid” standard.

I will simply tell you this: I randomly went to an open house that Georgia was holding in a lovely home. I had never met her before but I was totally bowled over by the presentation that she had created. The "flyer" was extremely high quality with superb presentation on a glossy card rather than paper. I loved her look and professionalism. She was smart and charismatic and not the least bit "noodgey". What was most impressive was that although I was not at all looking to buy a house at that time -- I was just lookey-looing in my new neighborhood -- I remembered her distinctly enough to call her immediately the following year when I considered putting my house up for sale. Beside Georgia, I ultimately interviewed the 2 other most widely recognized agent names in the area but neither of them compared to her. I didn't actually wind up putting my house on the market for almost another year after that meeting, yet she never did some of the overly solicitous things that I found so many in the real estate business do, i.e. a litany of phone calls and emails etc. I finally did decide to sell 2 years later. My instinct about her from that first open house encounter was dead-on and my allegiance well reciprocated. She put together a terrific presentation with gorgeous pictures, held open houses often if not weekly and kept things moving forward. I had a couple of interesting negotiations on bids and I found her to basically put my wants and needs first -- she is supportive and never said to me once "Take it". She always made me feel that I was making the decisions and then would gently throw in her 2 cents. She just never made me feel like she wanted the sale above all; she seems to get what a big deal this all is for people/families both financially AND emotionally, and she rolls with it all with grace. In the end, she helped me greatly to sell a home I loved. She cared for it for me when I was away as if it was her own, and she even at times tended to my beloved animals! Bottom line: She has integrity, is a truly nice person, is unflappable, and is highly professional at what she does -- what you see is what you get. I would have her sell my next home in a second. If you don't have her sell yours, you are probably making a mistake.
